E-commerce Resale & Amazon FBA (with Miles Longstreth)

E-commerce Resale & Amazon FBA with Miles @Flips4Miles | Builders Build #20

This week, the Builders Build team are joined by a young man from Pennsylvania with a dark secret… Meet Miles Longstreth, Amazon FBA specialist and founder of @Flips4Miles.

The most fundamental business of them all is about buying a product and selling it for more than you paid for it. We’re builders and merchants, and we love this niche!

What is Amazon FBA?

Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) is a full-service offering by Amazon that lets you outsource your orders to Amazon.

In practice, you send your products to Amazon, list on their site, and customers purchase from there. Amazon picks, packs, and ships your customer’s order, providing customer service and process returns for these orders.

What’s in the pod?

There are several forms of retail arbitrage – buying discounted products from everyday retailers (including online) to resell them on Amazon – in the ecommerce sphere. On Builders Build #20 podcast we talk with Miles about best practices for buying consumer soft goods in bulk and selling them all over the world via Amazon FBA.

We also cover the businesses he’s creating around the topic and more:

  • His Amazon FBA
  • SellerAmp SAS (Sourcing Analysis Simplified)
  • Building a personal brand
  • Info on products
  • Niche opportunities
  • Sales tax and arbitrage

Miles began his Amazon FBA selling spree by selling books in 2019. In the last 12 months, Miles has sold almost $2m in products. He has also documented his entire journey and process on social media.
